This Privacy Policy applies to the AcreBound mobile application, the AcreBound website if available, and related services that link to this Privacy Policy.

AcreBound helps users view approximate property lines, parcel boundaries, land owner information, parcel details, and land data on a GPS map. AcreBound does not provide legal surveys, legal advice, title opinions, or official government records. Property lines, parcel boundaries, measurements, owner information, and other property data are approximate and for informational purposes only.

If account creation is optional, this information is collected only when you create an account, sign in, or otherwise provide it.

B. Location Information

AcreBound may collect or process location-related information while you use the app, including:

We use location information to show your position on the map, find nearby parcels, identify approximate property lines near you, support GPS Property Line Mode, and improve map and parcel functionality.

You can deny or disable location access in iOS Settings. Some features may not work properly without location access. AcreBound does not intentionally collect your location when the app is not in use unless a future feature requires it and this Privacy Policy is updated.

C. Search and Usage Data

AcreBound may collect information about how you use the app, including:

D. Parcel and Property Data Entered or Saved by You

AcreBound may store information that you create, save, submit, or associate with parcels, including:

Third-Party Service Providers

AcreBound may work with third-party service providers for subscriptions, payments, maps, location features, search, geocoding, parcel and property data, analytics, advertising, crash reporting, diagnostics, hosting, infrastructure, security, and customer support.

These providers may process data needed for their services, such as subscription status, purchase data, device and app identifiers, location or map context, search queries, saved data, usage events, ad events, diagnostics, logs, and support information. Developers are responsible for understanding third-party data practices and keeping app privacy disclosures accurate.

4. How We Use Information

We do not intentionally use your precise location for advertising.

AcreBound does not sell personal information in the ordinary sense of selling customer lists for money. However, some analytics or advertising technologies may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under certain U.S. state privacy laws. If AcreBound uses advertising or analytics technologies, the app owner must ensure the final app marketplace privacy labels and any required opt-out mechanisms match the actual production configuration.

6. Public Records and Parcel Data

AcreBound displays parcel, property, ownership, tax, land, and map data that may come from official, public, third-party, open, and other property data sources.

Public records and property data may include owner names, mailing addresses, parcel identifiers, assessed values, sale history, legal descriptions, property characteristics, land use, zoning-related data, acreage, boundaries, and other information depending on the county, jurisdiction, and data provider.

AcreBound does not create official government records and does not guarantee that property data is accurate, complete, current, available, or suitable for any legal, financial, construction, access, hunting, fencing, tax, zoning, sale, purchase, ownership, or safety-critical decision. AcreBound may not be able to correct original source records. If you believe property data is inaccurate, you may report the issue in the app, but correction of official records may require contacting the relevant government office, official records office, local authority, or data provider.

7. Location Privacy

Location access is used to provide map and parcel features, including showing your current location, finding nearby parcels, improving searches, displaying approximate property lines near you, and enabling GPS Property Line Mode.

You may deny location permission, disable precise location, or revoke location access in iOS Settings. Precise location may improve GPS Property Line Mode and current parcel detection, but AcreBound should not be used for legal boundary decisions.

We may process your location to provide location-based features. Unless a feature requires saving location-related information, location may be processed temporarily to display map results or perform a search. Some location-related interactions, such as selected coordinates, viewed parcels, saved parcels, notes, issue reports, analytics events, logs, or support requests, may be retained as described in this Privacy Policy.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

Retention may include:
