This coverage is for England, Wales and Scotland. Northern Ireland keeps its own land registration system and is not part of it, so the page uses the term Great Britain rather than United Kingdom.
Most land in England and Wales is registered. Each registered title has a title number and a title plan that outlines its extent.
Title plans follow the general boundaries rule. They show roughly where a boundary lies, not its exact position, which is why a title plan is not a substitute for a boundary survey.
Scotland has its own land register, its own legal terms and its own title references. Registered land is shown on a cadastral map, and Scotland is reported separately from England and Wales on this page.
A mapped parcel here is a registered land extent. One extent can hold many homes, such as a block of flats, and one property can sit on more than one extent, so the parcel count is not a count of homes.
For Great Britain the focus is on mapped parcels, title references and record dates. Land area and property values are not part of this coverage.
AcreBound currently focuses its in-app parcel experience on the United States.
Support for Great Britain is being prepared for a future version of the AcreBound iOS app.
In the meantime, this page provides an overview of AcreBound's available data coverage for Great Britain.
