AcreBound Editorial Team

We create practical educational content about parcel maps, property boundaries, land measurement and property research.

What we write

Our guides explain how to find property lines, read a parcel map, look up an APN, find out who owns a piece of land and measure an area. Each guide starts with a direct answer, then explains the details, the common mistakes and the limits of the method.

How we keep guides honest

  • We state the limits. Parcel boundaries, GPS positions and measurements are approximate, and we say so wherever it matters.
  • We do not present a map as a substitute for a licensed survey, a title search or legal advice.
  • We say when rules differ by state or county instead of presenting one local rule as universal.
  • The “Updated” date on a guide changes only when someone has actually reviewed and revised the text.

Who we are not

The editorial team is not a law firm, a surveying firm or a title company. For decisions about where a boundary legally is, what you may build or who holds title, talk to a licensed surveyor, an attorney or a title company in your area.
